Roger Owen is a former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s and '80s who at club level has played rugby union (RU) for New Dock Stars RFC, playing at Prop, i.e. number 1 or 3, and at representative level has played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for St. Helens, playing at Prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.[1]
Roger Owen won caps for Wales (RL) while at St. Helens in 1981 against France (sub), and England (sub).[2]
